Medical Device Connectivity as retrofit or integrated solution
Our mdeg ConnectBox is designed for reliability and performance and ensures secure data transmission between connected devices and the cloud. The hardware module is specially developed for active medical and diagnostic products and complies with the EU regulatory framework. CE-marked by mdeg, the ConnectBox is available as off-the-shelf product, but also available as system component with the complete and comprehensive technical file.
Connectivity in clinics/labs
The ConnectBox integrates seamlessly into hospital’s IT infrastructure / HIS via the “data switch”. The data switch allows medical data to be integrated directly via the internal WiFi or cloud-to-cloud. Device data is sent directly to the manufacturer via the guest WiFi. Or use cellular to be infrastructure independent.

Choose between connectivity via WiFi or cellular depending on the user and infrastructure requirements of your customer. The combination of both technologies, one of them as a fallback solution, will significantly increase the reliability of your system
