Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining our medical cloud solutions. You’ll collaborate with international cross-functional teams including product managers, project lead, testers, and regulatory experts to deliver high-impact products that are used in real-world clinical settings.
Job description
- Architect, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and compliant cloud-native applications
- Lead engineering best practices including code reviews, test-driven development, CI/CD, monitoring, and alarming
- Manage our tech stack (see “What We’re Looking For”)
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
- Promote innovation and technological progress within the company
What we expect from you?
- Deep expertise in monolithic cloud stacks, with a focus on frontend technologies (React, JavaScript, etc.)
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy, especially in regulated environments
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in cloud-native architecture or solutions — though deep expertise is valued over exact years
- Hands-on experience with modern DevOps workflows (GIT, Jenkins, Dockers)
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as IEC 62304 is a strong plus
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
- Strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning and applying best practices
- Fluent in technical English; German language skills are a plus

Job description
- Leading and coordinating software development projects in the field of medical cloud solutions
- Responsibility for planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects in close collaboration with international internal teams and external partners
- Managing interdisciplinary teams consisting of software developers, architects, testers, and other stakeholders
- Continuous optimization of development processes in terms of agility, quality, and efficiency
- Budget, resource, and time planning as well as regular reporting to management
- Communication with customers, partners, and regulatory authorities
- Promoting innovation and technological progress within the compan
What we expect from you?
- Degree in computer science or engineering or comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in development or project management
- Desirable Experience and knowledge in the areas of regulatory (EN ISO 13485, EN ISO 14971, IEC 60601, IEC 62304, IEC 62366)
- Analytical thinking, a structured way of working and a willingness to continuously develop and focus on best practice methods/models
- You feel comfortable in the relaxed, innovative hands-on atmosphere of a start-up and are ready to take responsibility for your tasks and your area of activity
- You speak fluent German and good English
